Josh Washburn is a composer, sound artist, and multi-instrumentalist from Atlanta, Ga. His work combines synthesis, experimental processes, and richly-layered percussion to create music that is both complex and emotive. 

Whether providing music for film, television, theatre, dance, or with his own self-produced releases, Josh aims to broaden the scope of music and storytelling, pushing each project into new sonic territory while challenging the listener to consider more profoundly, to enjoy more fully, and to feel more deeply. 

Josh lives in the woods with his partner, fine artist and illustrator Alahna Watson and their pets Baker, Sprout, and Smudge. He spends his free time creating electronic scores for old silent films and making as much noise as possible.
